Aerobic contribution to short and F#$K’n hard! http://goo.gl/7AcoF ( @nfischbein brilliant site) read this information. Understand this information.
If you read right, at < 4min we are completely dominant (84%) in our aerobic system. If you dig deeper you will find that even repeated all out efforts become highly aerobic (http://www.zone5endurance.com/?p=1466) after very few.
If you understand the nervous system slightly you know that we develop skill by sending signals. Or poor skill through poor signals. It is understood that at our highest intensity we have developed the ability to see the largest neural output. If the lowest neural output is at the lowest intensity and we have poor skill we never change the poor program. So, would it behoove us to to use higher skill development at higher intensity? I’m just thinking out loud… Forgive me.
